Savannah Now: Jewish, black, hip hop performer

If Reuben Formey were 10 years younger, he might be hitting the road, sleeping in his car and getting as much stage time as possible.

He might be spending his days and nights on the phone, networking and looking for clubs and radio stations willing to play his faith-inspired take on rap and hip hop.

But Formey, 29, is a family man. And caring for the practical and spiritual needs of his wife and two young daughters comes first.
